Josh was a very lonely student in his school. No one wanted to help him with his homework or play with him as he was very obese. He had tried his utmost best to reduce his weight but it did not do much.
Thus, all the others constantly teased him.
That fateful day, a new transfer student called Jeff entered the school and surprisingly, he sat beside him. As usual, our teacher, Ms Goh, told him to give him a tour of the school.
"And this is the school library. If you are an avid reader, you should definitely come here!" Josh said as they stood in front of the library which was located in the second floor. He looked at the library and gagged. Josh guffawed at this.
Josh wanted to talk to Jeff to know more about him but found it seemingly strenuous to as he kept on making funny faces at him. So, he decided not to talk to him for the rest of the time.
Later, when he was going back to home from school, a few boys from his class came towards him and started to mock and tease him. Jeff saw this and went out of Josh's sight and to the staff room. Josh thought he was too afraid of the bullies so he ran away. Instead, within few minutes, Jeff came back with a teacher. When the teacher came closer, it became clearer that the teacher was their own teacher, Ms Goh! Delighted, Josh ignored every single word they were using to describe him. When one of the boys were calling him fat, they received a light pat on the back and they immediately turned back in rage that someone patted him on the shoulder. "How dare..." One of the boy's voice trailed off after seeing Ms Goh.
Not once, after the boys were punished, did anyone dare to bully Jeff's best friend, Josh. Jeff was not just a friend, he was the funny friend.

Unexpected Incident
It was a cold morning. Sunny was going to school as usual, and her body posture was slouched. She unwillingly walked to school as she receives bullying daily, but this time, her face was now in a shock after she saw a huge mass of wind swirl around behind the school. She started to run away from her school. Anxiety and fear gripped her. She started to stumble back in awe.
“Tor...torn...tornado! Ahh!” She saw students and teachers streaming out of the school. Sunny kept on looking in the back while running back but surprisingly, it came towards the school very slowly. She stopped running and took out her phone from the bag to take photos of the greyish tornado. “Ah! Run for your lives!” Some students bellowed.
After fifteen minutes, the school was already being plucked off from the ground by the tornado. It went up and got thrown to a carpark one kilometer away. Sunny rather saw this entertaining than scary and dangerous. She continued taking photographs of the tornado getting closer to her and texting it to her friends. She could now feel the wind haul her slightly. Her hair swayed a lot and she still enjoyed it. Not even a single person was there to remind and warn her that she might die by this tornado. She continued laughing until...
She was disturbed by the wind. It hauled her up and she went around in circles. Screaming in shock did not save her from this problem. It was her mistake anyway, so she was helpless. When she reached the top of the tornado, she could see the whole view, from the destroyed carpark to the petrol bunk. She screamed at the top of her lungs.
As she was thrown from the tornado, she tried to hold herself. She was too petrified to even move. Fortunately, when she was going to fall down, she saw a big net right where she would fall and people crowded around.
Sunny felt exhilarated and exuberant. Then, instead of fearing her fall, she opened it widely and swam in the air. When she fell down and landed on the net, she saw familiar faces like her friends and family. She was carried by the hands of a stranger who passed her to Sunny’s mother. She chided Sunny while engulfing her with a mixture of anger and relief. Sunny hugged her to. “Don’t you ever dare to stand near a tornado. “ Her mother said. Now, whenever Sunny sees photos or documentaries of tornadoes, she would shiver to think of the accident she had gone through.

A Disturbing Note
I spotted a note from my classroom table as I sat down. The note was a letter of apology addressed to me from my former friend, Felix. Agitated, I threw it aside. I took out my homework, attempting to take my mind off that incident. Nevertheless, my wandering mind traveled to that fateful day.
Two weeks ago...
Felix was a short-tempered friend of mine. He would get piqued for trivial issues. He would even argue with others for a pen! He would insult others by saying they selfish.
Coincidentally, both Felix and I forgot to bring an eraser. As he was my best friend, he would always approach me and ask me for my eraser. I said I did not bring my eraser either. He thought I was lying to him so he called me a 'selfish boy'. I could not believe my ears. How could my own best friend call me selfish? Reluctant but enraged, my hands shot up high with my mouth saying,''Teacher! He called me selfish without any reason!''
Felix did not have any time to retort as the teacher already started to say that he should never say hurtful words like that. He also said that this was the last time he would be doing that. Felix obediently listened to the teacher. Then he furrowed his eyes at me.
While I played basketball with my friends, I went to the water cooler to drink so that I could quench my thirst. I met Felix at that same time. He told me that I was a jerk for getting him into trouble.
I tried to argue back but before anything happened, he pushed me down the ground harshly. Pain flowed through my blood as the rough ground came in contact with my skin.Blood seeped and oozed out of my skin. I got up with a lot of difficulty.I saw him leave me there. That was it. I was never going to talk to him forever. I did not tell the teacher. Or else, I would receive twice the pain I received that day. When I went home, my parents asked me what had happened to me. I just said I accidentally fell down.
A few days later, Felix tried to talk to me thinking that I had forgotten what had happened last time. I just ignored him and walked away from him or tell him to keep quiet. I did not recover from the shock that he gave me by physically attacking me.
Two weeks later...
I was still doing my homework, mind now gone back to the note written by Felix. It perturbed me. Thus, I stopped doing my homework and took out a fresh piece of paper. I clicked my pen and started to write. ''Dear Felix, I accept your apology. I hope we can be friends again.'' And I signed off with off a satisfied smile on my face. I went to his table and placed my note on his table thinking," My friendship with Felix is going to restore." And continued doing his homework.
